EPISODE 5 IS DELAYED FOR THE MOMENT

Thank you for your patience. Please enjoy this new poem of mine. You can probably figure out my inspiration for this one.

LISTENING

lack of ability
to shine
to breath with intent
or to make oneself known

I yearn to be heard
fully

to be free
from this burden of language
to communicate without words
to hear without hearing
no ears to use
but instead to feel
everything
from within
to know and understand
all
at the beginning
and
the end

EPISODE 4: The Journey has commenced

Thanks for tuning in again to Journey of Passion. I'm sorry for not publishing last week for I had laryngitis. Thankfully it cleared up quite quickly. This week's episode is short and simple. I talk about beginning the actual travel part of my journey and what places I will visit before I settle down in Italy. I also included another of my mother's songs and two other poems of mine. Click on the link below to enjoy! My poetry in written format is included here as well as this photo link to my San Francisco Gallery.

JourneyofPassion:Episode4

IN SILENCE

there is a peace
that can only be found
in silence
when the mouth and mind
are at rest
acceptance increasing
freedom to be
me

GRAVITATION

As I draw near you
the weight of your presence
awakens every hidden emotion and desire
and pulls me ever closer
to your center

EPISODE 3: Finally, it's here!

Well, I may be a week late, but I published nonetheless. Thank you all for your tremendous patience. I hope you deem the wait well worth-it. This week I feature music from my mother, Joyce Elizabeth Nestor, my own version of the beautiful Don Mclean song, "Vincent", another of my many poems, and a few quick rants. I talk about leaving my job and the annoying rule requiring men to be clean-shaven in the business world. Click on the title directly below to begin.

Shades of Grey

As the long awaited light
Breaks on the distant horizon
The shadow of my figure
Begins to cast its grey
For with the light, comes
Awakened sense of sight
Revealing what night
Had long since cast away

The truth that lies beneath
Can now be fully seen
As dark as it may be
It now must be believed
For now this ever rising
Sun upon horizon
Breaks through the surface
Of my skin
Unveiling all that's held within
